Chowtoberfest VII Chowder Challenge!
Do you make an unforgettable chowder?
Bring your best batch to Chowtoberfest VII and compete for prizes, bragging rights and chowder glory.
Creamy, spicy, clam-packed, vegetarian, corn, seafood or something completely original - if it's a chowder, we want to taste it.
How it works:
• Prepare your chowder at home.
• Bring it hot in a crockpot or insulated container.
• Bring your own serving utensils.
• Check in before 12 p.m.
• Our judges will sample every entry.
Judging categories:
• Best Tasting Chowder
• Most Creative Chowder
• Best Chowtoberfest-Themed Chowder
Judges will score entries based on flavor, creativity, presentation and overall appeal.
Open to home cooks, professionals, families and teams.

About last year's Chowtoberfest:
Our Sept 6, 2025 festival had an exciting lineup featuring renowned acts such as the Sonic Crusaders, Dave Kopec Band, Kasim Sulton, Dan Lawson, Mark Sganga & Friends, and Old Road. Attendees enjoyed live performances that catered to all musical tastes.
In addition to exceptional music, the festival always offers a variety of activities for families. Children can engage with beloved characters like Spiderman and partake in face painting sessions. This past year we had a bounce house and free petting zoo, alpaca walks, and pony rides.
The incorporation of holograms adds a modern twist to the festivities, ensuring there’s something new for everyone to enjoy. Support local businesses by exploring our diverse range of vendors showcasing handmade crafts and artisanal goods. This festival not only highlights artistic talent but also fosters connections within the community. Mark your calendars for this year's celebration!
